Lakota Language Documentary ‘Oyate Woyaka’ Premiere

The film features fluent Lakota elders embracing their ancestral language, traditional culture and spirituality to revitalize the language in their communities.

Made possible through the sponsorship of Bluebird Cultural Initiative and Speaking of Happy, the screening offers an opportunity to embrace the Lakota culture.

Following the viewing, there will be a Q&A session with the directors which will provide insight into the making of this documentary.

This free event is open to all members of the public. Those interested in attending can secure a spot by registering for the event here.
